Manager Development

In store displays have a direct potential to influence sales. I've developed workshops to educate Retail Managers in Visual Merchandising and teach them how to make the best decisions when presenting their products on the sales floor.  Each month I select a topic that educates managers on best practices and helps to create a sense of ownership and pride for the businesses they oversee. Workshops I've run have focused on merchant standards like table presentations, back wall build-outs, hanger standards, tidiness, and safety practices. These workshops have helped to create strong working relationships between Sales Managers and the Visual Merchandising team and have led to meeting—and even exceeding—our sales goals.

Visual Merchandiser Development

I am focused on developing, coaching, and training future visual leaders. Fostering a passion for visual merchandising by communicating effectively and efficiently with a high degree of collaboration and influence is my number one goal. I always want my team to feel a deep sense of ownership over their work. The ability to train and mentor employees is an ever evolving task in this fast paced world that is Retail.

Intern Development

Internships and volunteer experiences make candidates more competitive in the job market. In addition to gaining exposure and experience in the field, they also provide an opportunity to see if the particular career field is the right one based on getting personal experience in the field. I have 100% retention rate with Interns. I find it important to give back to my Visual Merchandising community and provide the opportunity to young working professionals new to this field.
